Physical Size & Shape
Xiaomi Mi Pad's 7.9-inch screen with 2048 × 1536 resolution is comfortable for daily use. At 326ppi pixel density, your eyes can't see a physical pixel anymore. In every usage scenario - from reading, watching videos, playing games, web surfing - the screen is extraordinarily clear. Its 4:3 display ratio is also compatible with mainstream applications.
Performance
Powered by the Quad Core 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 Cortex-A15 CPU and 2GB RAM, Mi Pad's performance is similar to iPad mini 3. According to the AnTuTu benchmarking app, Mi Pad scores 411 points in video playing. Not only can it play a 1080P video smoothly, but also 2k and 4k. This kind of performance is beyond some Xiaomi phones. Mi Pad is definitely qualified to be a versatile video player in the living room as well as outdoors.
Software
Mi Pad's operating system is MIUI 6 (based on Android KitKat 4.4) that has been customised for big screen. MIUI earns positive reviews from technology magazines. This comes as no surprise as the millions of Mi fans all over the world help Xiaomi perfect the OS by submitting feedback and suggestions. Google's Play Store app is not installed by default but you can install it by following the installation guide on our blog.
Casting to TV using Chromecast works but only if initiated from apps that have built-in casting feature, such as Netflix and Youtube. Screen mirroring using Chromecast doesn't work yet - the TV just goes dark and shows nothing. In practice this is usually not an issue as we mostly cast to TV for watching a Netflix movie or Youtube video.
Reading Experience
Mi Pad's size is similiar to an A5 book. The built-in Duokan reading app, which has more than 10 different layouts, brings pleasant paper reading experience to users. Pictures, words, mathematical formulas, programming codes, videos, all can be displayed on Duokan. It supports TXT, KEB, UMD,PDF, CHM, EPUB, HTML formats, and more.

Free Returns Within 100 Days
If you're not totally satisfied with your purchase or simply change your mind, you can ask for a full refund. All you need to do is return the goods unused, in the same state you received them and in the original packaging within 100 days of placing your order. Seals and stickers must remain intact and not be tampered with.
